Heritage Hills is an affordable, lower-income neighborhood bordered by two major local highways. Housing is inexpensive here, and it is easy to commute by car. A kid-friendly neighborhood, Heritage Hills is within a mile and a half of Hart Elementary School, Dobie Middle School, and Gus Garcia Recreation Center, which offer playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, fitness centers, and youth programs. Walmart Supercenter is about a quarter-mile from the community, and the HEB grocery store at North Lamar Boulevard and West Rundberg Lane is less than 2 miles. With the interstate and Highway 183 so close by, residents of Heritage Hills can reach the majority of Austin quickly and easily.
