Mueller is well on its way to becoming home to approximately 13,000 residents, 13,000 employees, 4 million square feet of office and retail, more than 5,700 homes, and 140 acres of public open space. Since the community is located only three miles northwest of downtown Austin, its residents can enjoy all that the city offers. In all, the city expects to have 10,000 homes in the area. Even with all of the homes being placed in the area, over 100 acres will be left as parks and greenbelt.
