Mueller is the urban village at the heart of Austin’s history and culture. Once the city’s 700-acre Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, the site has been transformed over the last two decades into a stunning display of new urbanism development, community spirit, and sustainability. Unlike any other development in Austin and beyond, Mueller offers residents the opportunity to enjoy work, play, shopping, and so much more without even leaving the community. More can be found here.
Just 3 miles from Downtown Austin and 2 miles from the University of Texas at Austin, Mueller’s sustainable, urbanist style of living is a culmination of efforts between the developer and the city of Austin. This has created a live-work-play atmosphere where neighbors of all backgrounds can live close to where they work, shop, and spend quality time with loved ones. Excellent Residential Area
Mueller is well on its way to becoming home to approximately 13,000 residents, 13,000 employees, 4 million square feet of office and retail, more than 5,700 homes, and 140 acres of public open space. Since the community is located only three miles northwest of downtown Austin, its residents can enjoy all that the city offers. In all, the city expects to have 10,000 homes in the area. Even with all of the homes being placed in the area, over 100 acres will be left as parks and greenbelt.
